The Art of Travel & Our Life in India
INDIA IS CALLING, AND WE MUST GO!
India is the seventh largest country in the world by area and, with over a billion people, is second only to China in population. It is an extremely diverse country, with vast differences in geography, climate, culture, language and ethnicity across its expanse. With so many travelers and volunteers more recently becoming interested in what India has to offer, it may rightly be called the 'last frontier.'

Early in the spring of 2014, we took our first trip to India for 3 weeks.
Our travels took us from Mumbai to Kerala, Delhi to Jaipur and finally Agra. Since then, we've lived in India for up to 6 months at a time (mostly in Rajasthan) and have explored many more of the diverse regions of India.
We were inspired (and honestly sometimes overwhelmed) by everything that India has to offer.
The sights, sounds, colors, landscapes, hospitality and adventure were certainly unlike any of the other dozen or so countries we've had the chance to visit.
Knowing that proper planning can either make or break any trip or move, the goal of this site is to help our readers plan for their Indian adventure from our own real life experiences, advice from others, and helpful research we've found.
